Welcome CONTENTS WELCOME to Cary's 40th annual Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival! This year, Lazy Daze welcomes more than 300 artists from 16 states as well as a number of great exhibits and activities for all ages. Lazy Daze is recognized as one of the top arts festivals in the nation! You won't want to miss anything, so use this program as your guide. VISIT THE Best in Show 2015 ARTISTS In 2001, to commemorate the 25th annual festival and honor festival founder Jerry Miller, the Jerry Miller Artist Awards were instituted. Award winners are considered the best in show and given a complimentary booth in the festival the following year. The returning 2015 Jerry Miller winners are: Lucy Clark Clay Booth A013 Maggie Joynt Jewelry (Metalsmith) Booth B200 Petty Shepard Fiber (Art) Booth A016 The 2016 Jerry Miller Award winners will be announced on Saturday at 12:45 p.m. on the Publix Main Stage. 4 SPECIAL ACTIVITIES 6 FOOD AND DRINK A wide variety of food and drinks is available at many locations throughout the festival. 8 ENTERTAINMENT A variety of entertainment is held throughout the day in five different areas.
