Summer Intern Program
Over the summer, interns from the Academy
of Information Technology at Apex High
School worked in Technology Services on a
variety of projects including: 137 Office 2007
to Office 2013 migrations; replaced and
installed over 700 phones; and developed
six open data stories.
The Bakery purchased 220 W. Chatham Street to create a production bakery, retail
bakery and cafe, and additional lease space. Construction is underway.
An oven-fired pizza restaurant announced plans to open in the new Midtown-Square
commercial building currently under construction. This restaurant is the first venue of
seasoned husband and wife chef team, Zach and Amber Faulisi.
