Two new schools opened this year in our jurisdiction, Pleasant Grove Elementary and White Oaks Elementary. Cary Officers met with both schools and are currently preparing a Crisis Plan for both. SRO Kenric Alexander will be the liaison for Pleasant Grove and Seth Parker will be the liaison with White Oak for the remainder of the year. Traffic Safety Team (TST) ReadyWake: Reverse 911 System Town staff partnered with the Wake County Emergency Management Center to activate our first town-wide test of the County's reverse 911 system, ReadyWake. Since March, enrollment in the self-registered system jumped from 420 contacts to 6,972 contacts. Initial reports showed that roughly 99% of calls were successful. Total EMS Calls by Month Third quarter calls decreased 0.40% in 2016 compared to the same period in 2015. Total Fire Calls by Month Third quarter fire frequency increased 43.64% in 2016 compared to the same period in 2015. Containment of Structural Fire Incidents Cary Fire had 7 cardiac arrest saves in 2015 A cardiac save is defined as a patient who recovers from cardiac arrest with complete neurological functions intact upon discharge from the hospital.
