SPORTS PART TWO 110 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org Teen Volleyball Skills Class (age 13–16) Participants will advance their individual skills in serving, passing, setting, and hitting, and will learn the rotations, rules, and offensive strategies of volleyball. Instruction will be modified for the participant's level of play and skills are applied to game situations. This class is excellent preparation for the Cary youth league played in June and July. The goals are to learn and develop the basic skills and techniques involved in playing volleyball. The focus will be on fundamentals at each participant's individual level of skill and experience, applied to game situations. Adult open gym may be limited to Cary residents during periods of high participation. Passes can be purchased and used at any of the three Centers. A parent must sign the waiver for purchase of youth or teen passes.
