SPECIALIZED RECREATION PART TWO 142 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org Endless Sports' 4th Annual Wheelchair Basketball Tournament Sunday, March 12 | 1–6 pm. Fred G. Bond Metro Park Community Center This event features teams of able-bodied kids who are learning to roll with it as they compete in a wheelchair basketball tournament. The tournament encourages able- bodied kids to become aware of the obstacles faced by athletes with physical challenges every time they take the court. Wheelchair basketball is one of the few Paralympic sports where both able-bodied athletes and athletes with disabilities can compete together. Special Interests Parent Workshops Join Rosellen Reif—a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, a Certifi ed Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Qualifi ed Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health Professional—for a variety of workshops geared towards parents and/or family members of persons with disabilities.
