Students will explore the basic concepts of simple machines and how we use them to achieve even our most grandiose goals! Students will use LEGO ® WeDo™ construction and resource kits to produce new and exciting builds that will be used to create Kelvin's Amusement Park. Location: Herbert C. Play carnival games, make carnival style foods, design and even build your own carnival game. School's Out Camps (grade K–6) These full-day camp programs accommodate teacher workdays and holiday breaks for students. Campers participate in activities such as arts and crafts, sports and games, recreational/educational fi eld trips, and more. Our program is staffed with caring and experienced counselors. Please send your child with a lunch, two snacks, and a water bottle each day. Using LEGO bricks, students build a dancing bird, a smart spinner, and a drumming monkey. They will also learn how to program and operate their creations using a laptop computer. Location: Herbert C.
