Jones Park is a popular park that features the trailhead for the Annie Jones Greenway—a great place for walking, biking, jogging, or strolling. The west branch runs from McCloud Court through Annie Jones Park and across Tarbert Drive, ending at the east branch a few hundred feet from SW Cary Parkway. Hours: Sunrise to sunset; in lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the activity or 10 p.m. Features: 6 lighted tennis courts, a lighted baseball/softball field, 2 basketball slabs, a playground, picnic tables, restrooms, and offers trailhead parking for the Annie Jones Greenway. Carpenter Park 4420 Louis Stephens Drive, 27512 This 16-acre parcel is a neighborhood park with multiple pedestrian trails. It features a community garden maintained by citizen volunteers and is the memorial site for Flights 3379 and 3378.
