Join the Friends of the Page-Walker as they reveal the name origins of some of Cary's prominent thoroughfares. "What Have We Got to Lose?" Annual Survey of Historic Properties Tuesday, May 23 | 7:30 p.m. | Free Page-Walker Arts & History Center Join the Friends of Page-Walker to learn the status and significance of many of Cary's historic properties. Hear interesting tidbits about the people associated with these local treasures. History of Cary (age 16 & up) Ever wonder why Cary is where it is, or how Cary became "Cary"? Learn about the history of the community we call home! Class ends with a trip to the Cary Heritage Museum. Kratzer Educational Garden. Resuming in March 2017, groups may schedule walking tours of downtown Cary. The fee for either tour is $5 per person. Call (919) 462-3963 to schedule.
