Give your child the same opportunity in a safe environment brimming with opportunities for discovery. Staff-led explorations offer your child the chance to make their own memories, while increasing knowledge about local plants and animals. Our adventures will encourage the understanding and appreciation of the natural world at night. This old fashioned camp-style program includes nature activities and crafts, as well as night hikes and campfi re snacks around the fi re pit. Each program has a different nature topic. Who knew learning could be so much fun? Children are dropped off for this program. Fees: $24(R) $32(N) (2 classes) WILDLIFE UNDERCOVER Use your nature detective skills to search for wildlife. 100873 Tue, Wed Feb 21, 22 1–3 p.m. FROGS AND POLLYWOGS Explore wet and wild places seeking frogs, salamanders, and more! 100874 Tue, Thu Apr 11, 13 1–3 p.m. Youth Nature Curiosity Club (age 5–8) Children will embrace science and nature at the Stevens Nature Center while developing skills and knowledge to satisfy their curiosity about the natural world around them. In these introductory nature programs, they will learn about nature through hands-on explorations in the preserve along with fun activities and crafts.
