Annual $15 USA Fencing membership must also be purchased. Beginning Fencing Level I (age 11–17) Students will be introduced to the Olympic sport of fencing in a fun and challenging environment. The focus will be on learning the basics, including footwork and blade skills needed for bouting. USA Fencing membership required. Private lessons are one-on-one instructional time with a coach where the fencer receives individualized instruction. Fencers of all levels benefit from these lessons, where the focus is to improve both the technical and the tactical skillset of the fencer and prepare for competition if needed.
