Young Community Center Instructor: Maggie Witter TWO DAYS Fees: $88(R) $114(N) (2 classes) AMERICAN GIRL DOLL Do you love your American Girl Doll? Join in the fun with other American Doll lovers and dive deeper into the world of American dolls! Arts and crafts will complement the doll-of-the-day. 102715 Tue, Thu Jul 11–13 1–4 p.m. T4 FANTASTIC BEASTS Unlock your imagination and experience an extraordinary array of magical creatures through crafts, games and adventures. Muggles welcome! 102694 Tue, Thu Jul 18–20 9 a.m.–noon T4 TUMBLE & CHEER (age 6-10) Hey future cheerleaders! Work on your tumble skills and learn basic cheer moves and chants. Be ready to clap, shout, stomp, and leap! Great for beginners! 102698 Tue, Thu Jul 25–27 1–4 p.m. T4 WATER ATTACK Enjoy cool, wet fun in the hot sun. Look out for water, water, and more water! Water sponge relays, water balloon games, and don't forget your super soaker for a very wet battle. Dress to get wet and run in the grass. No fl ip fl ops or crocks, please. 103199 Tue, Thu Aug 1–3 1–4 p.m. T3 CANDYLAND From something gooey and sweet to something round and tart, create something wonderful in the candyland lab! 102717 Tue, Thu Aug 8–10 1–4 p.m. T3 Little Veterinarian School (age 5–10) This camp encourages role play, as children explore the fi eld of veterinary medicine. Using crafts and games, children will learn how to take care of a pet. They will adopt a pet dog and, then, learn about appropriate nutrition/hydration, ticks, immunizations, medications, and how to treat an injury. Location: Herbert C. Young Community Center Instructor: Little Medical School Fees: $110(R) $140(N) (5 classes) 102940 Mon-Fri Jun 12–16 1–4 p.m. T1 103122 Mon-Fri Jul 17–21 1–4 p.m. T4 Little Medical School (age 5–10) This camp brings medicine, science, and the importance of health to children in an exciting and fun way! Children can dress up like doctors, use medical instruments, and discover how the body works. Through hands-on demonstrations, crafts, and games, children are actively engaged as they explore the world of medicine. Location: Herbert C. Young Community Center Instructor: Little Medical School Fees: $110(R) $140(N) (5 classes) 103112 Mon-Fri Jul 10–14 1–4 p.m. T4 Little Nursing & Pharmacy School (age 5–10) This camp encourages children to dress up and play as they explore the exciting world of nursing and simulate a mini-pharmacy school experience. Using interactive demonstrations, crafts, and games, kids learn how the body works and how to use the instruments, the knowledge, and the skills that real nurses and pharmacists use. Location: Herbert C. Young Community Center Instructor: Little Medical School Fees: $110(R) $140(N) (5 classes) 103363 Mon-Fri Aug 14–18 1–4 p.m. T3 NEW! Age eligibility for School's Out Camps and Track-Out Day Camps are based on Wake County Public School's guideline of August 31, 2016 as an age cutoff. If your child is currently enrolled in a non-Wake County Public School but meets the grade requirement of for the camp, please bring in proof of enrollment/grade in order to register.
