Learn how to build websites from start to finish using an award winning suite of products. Topics include sales, product branding, business, finance and marketing concepts. By the end of the session, participants will develop and execute their very own business plan, logo, company name; concept and product line ready for display and to sell at a local retail or boutique shop. Start programming to make your own games using blocks that generate HTML5/JavaScript ® , the most popular programming language. Your games will run in IE, Chrome, Safari and more! Learn lots of techniques for customizing and enhancing your games! Participants need a laptop (windows, mac, or chromebook), headphones and a web browser. Location: Herbert C. Young Community Center Instructor: Barbara Walters Fees: $110(R) $140(N) (5 classes) 103096 Mon-Fri Jul 10–14 1–4 p.m. T3 103097 Mon-Fri Jul 24–28 1–4 p.m. T4 Boot Camp: Babysitter & Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED (age 11–17) Facilitated by a trained American Red Cross and American Safety and Health Institute instructor, this course provides information needed for effective babysitting and teaches students to recognize and care for first aid emergencies to help victims of any age. Students who successfully complete this course will be certified in babysitting and Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED (valid for two years). Location: Herbert C.
