Beginners Softball Camp (age 7–14) This camp will introduce the fundamentals of softball: throwing, catching, fi elding, and hitting. Through games and fun activities, we will teach the players the rules of the game, the positions on the fi eld, and the basics of pitching. Players should bring a softball glove to camp. All other equipment will be provided. Instructor: Town of Cary Softball Instructors Fees: $120(R) $150(N) (5 classes) Location: Green Hope High School, Softball Field 103234 Mon-Fri Jun 26–30 8:30 a.m.–noon T1 Location: Thomas Brooks Park, Field 5 103235 Mon-Fri Jul 17–21 8:30 a.m.–noon T4 Intermediate Softball Camp (age 8–14) This camp is for athletes who have played at least two seasons of organized softball. We will review the fundamentals of the game, hone skills, teach game strategy and smart base running, practice agility drills, and do daily conditioning. Specialized training for pitcher and catcher positions will be offered. Bring a softball glove to camp. New this year, leagues for age 5–10 will register by zone. BASEBALL T-ball (coed) age 5–6 Mite (coed) age 7–8 Mustang age 9–10 Bronco age 11–12 Pony age 13–14 Colt age 15–16 Sr. Babe Ruth age 16–18 * Age determined as of 4/30/2017 All fi ve year olds must submit a birth certifi cate. * 16-year-olds registered for Colt baseball may not try out for Senior Babe Ruth. SPORTS 42 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org Baseball Instruction (age 7–18) Town of Cary 1-on-1 lessons are offered year round and are intended to develop, enhance, and build upon your player's skill level. Due to overwhelming popularity of lessons; available dates are released on the 25th of every month for lessons being held the following month. They will be posted on EZREG web and will be available on a fi rst come, fi rst serve basis. Lessons can be 30 minutes ($25) or an hour long ($40).
