We will focus on fi ne-tuning player mechanics and understanding strategies that win games. Athletes who register for this camp should be confi dent on the fi eld and in the batter's box. Players who are interested in registering should be playing or have played school or travel softball. Each six-session program will combine strength & conditioning, agility, mechanics, skills, and speed and power. We will cover all aspects of the game including throwing, fi elding (in and out), hitting, bunting, slapping, base running, on-fi eld communication, and winning strategies. Our instructors will follow up with a detailed email about the Academy. Cost per player is $190 Dates for the academy are as follows: Session 1 Tue, Thu July 11–27 6–8:30 p.m. T4 Session 2 Tue, Thu Aug 8–24 6–8:30 p.m. T3 Softball Instruction (age 7–18) Town of Cary 1-on-1 lessons are offered year round and are intended to develop, enhance, and build upon your player's skill level. Due to overwhelming popularity of lessons; available dates are released on the 25th of every month for lessons being held the following month. They will be posted on EZ-REG web and will be available on a fi rst-come, fi rst- served basis. Lessons can be 30 minutes ($25) or an hour long ($40). Anyone can sign up for a 30-minute lesson; hour-long lessons are for age 10-17. If you have questions, email TOCInstructors@townofcary. org.
