Project PHOENIX Activities Pumpkin painting for over 60 kids Santa's Workshop events with hot chocolate and snacks 1st Annual Nottingham Drive Fall Festival for neighbors In December, Cary hosted a Holiday Shopping experience for 11 children from two different apartment complexes. The participating children began at Bass Pro Shop to purchase their warm winter coats and then had lunch courtesy of Chick-Fil-A. As an added bonus, the children received a new bike, bike helmet and bike light upon returning home to their apartment building. Specialized Recreation 47 Programs offered 465 6 Number of registrants Number of new programs, such as yoga,fishing, and cake decorating Spruce & Adopt a Spot 103 Projects 781 Volunteers 7 New Adopt a Spot locations, bringing the total to 68 spots townwide Adopt a Spot celebrated its fifth anniversary this quarter! Almost every part, over half our trails, more than 25 miles of streets, and several school campuses have been adopted by businesses, scouting troups, school PTA's, families, religious and civic organizations, and individuals.
