The Jones House - Update
Five proposals were submitted and one proposal was
selected to work towards negotiation. Part of the negotiation
involves assessing changes to the house (orientation of
restroom doors, for example) to determine if draft lease terms
can be reached before bringing the selection to Council for
approval.
Downtown Events
Life
Pumpkin Carve
Over 500 people attended the event and carved over
200 pumpkins.
Heart of the Holidays
Featured a gingerbread house contest, with 11
downtown businesses hosting the houses for display.
The event also included 23 gifting trees lining Academy
Street and over 650 letters to Santa were handwritten
and mailed to Cary children.
