Creating ACTIVE Retirement Years (919) 469-4081 31 Fitness & Wellness CARY LOVETAPS Want to learn some fancy foot moves and perform in front of an audience? This group uses a variety of dance styles including tap, soft shoe, and stomp (choreographed percussion and dance movements), to develop a routine that will be performed in Wake County Senior Games. Must have a basic knowledge of tap; instruction is not included beyond warm-up and choreography. Due to the complexity of some routines, dancers must be committed to a full year of practice that will meet throughout the week as competition approaches. Cost of program is approved shoes and costume expenses. 104911 Every Wednesday 4–6 p.m. (no class 6/28) Shag Beginner (16+) Living in North Carolina and you still don't know about shagging? Learn the basic shag step as you dance to beach music, giving you the confidence to get on the dance floor! Appropriate tap shoes are required. Wear tap shoes or hard-soled shoes for the first class; tap shoes (available from any local dance store) will be discussed the first day.
