Bands, Bites, & Boats at Bond Park Spend your Friday evening floating on Bond Lake in the evening sun, listening to great music, and tasting delicious food. This new series will take place the last Friday of every month from 5-8 p.m. and will feature various musicians and food trucks. Evening boat rentals will be available. Otherwise, the event is free. Bring a lawn chair, as well as your family and friends! FRIDAY, JUNE 30 Music: Garland Mason Food Trucks: Baozi Food Truck and Captain Cookie & the Milkman FRIDAY, JULY 28 Music: Kayilin Roberson Food Truck: The Humble Pig FRIDAY, AUGUST 25 Music: Garth Robertson Food Truck: Oak City Fish and Chips Starlight Concert Series The Starlight Concert Series is a lively series of free concerts that feature musical styles from around the world and across the musical spectrum. All concerts take place in the beautiful gardens of the Page-Walker Arts & History Center. Bring a picnic, but please leave pets and alcohol at home. Polka Plus Band Friday, June 2 | 7 p.m. | Free Roll Out the Barrel for the annual Yankovic Day celebration with Polka Plus Band! In 1997, America's Polka King Frankie Yankovic performed with the band for the 2nd annual concert; two decades later, the band keeps his music alive. Celebration of Bluegrass Friday, June 23 | 6 p.m. | Free For the seventh year, the Town of Cary partners with the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music (Pinecone) to present Bluegrass Camp, teaching guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and songwriting. Hear the young musicians in action at 6 p.m., followed by a guest band.
