Understanding exposure is more important to a good photograph than equipment. Learn the ABCs and how to move from the "Auto" setting to take control of better pictures. Includes presentation, demonstration, practice, and constructive critique. Prerequisite: Basic Photography or an understanding of the Exposure Triangle. Receive a thorough presentation of the basics: set-up, brush-handling, washes and glazes, color-mixing; wet-on-dry, wet-on-wet, and dry-brush applications. Students will be guided through a series of hands-on exercises designed to increase understanding of the concepts. For beginners or anyone wanting a refresher. Supply list provided on receipt. Discussions will cover more in-depth color use as well as the benefits of using better materials, incorporating other media, and using miscellaneous tips and tricks. Often times we are able to accommodate those on waiting lists by adding additional spots in the class or adding additional classes.
