Members of the Greenway Committee will lead this one-hour adventure along the winding paths of Black Creek Greenway. En Plein Air: Art Auction & Gala Friday, June 9 | 6–8:30 p.m. | Free Cary Arts Center For the fourth year, the Cary Arts Center will be transformed into an elegant nightclub! Patrons can enjoy light fare, a cash bar, and dancing. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on original artworks depicting the natural beauty and landmarks of Cary created by artists in May. The American Dance Festival and Town of Cary present Hillel Kogan's We Love Arabs Tuesday & Wednesday | June 13 & 14 | 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $28.50 The Cary Theater We Love Arabs is a comical story of a Jewish choreographer and an Arab dancer who want to create a show that carries the messages of coexistence and peace—a successful endeavor, executed with humor and subtlety, that demolishes the wall of prejudice, and is an examination of everyday behavior. Annual Yard Sale Saturday, June 18 | 7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. | Free Cary Senior Center Don't miss it! Thousands of great items—from antiques to brand new pieces—can be found at rock-bottom prices. Bring your unwanted items on Thursday, June 16 from 9:30 a.m.–6 p.m. and Friday, June 17 from 9:30 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. Then, shop on Saturday! All proceeds support the Cary Senior Center and the many senior clubs that participate in this event. Dogs with Dad Friday, June 23 | Age 4–10 | $23 per parent/child pair ($12 for an additional child) Fred G. Bond Metro Park Boathouse Join us for a night of hotdogs and fun! Start the night off with a quick pedal boat or canoe ride on the lake. Then enjoy a hot dog dinner on the Boathouse deck! Fee includes one child and one dad. Taste some of the best food in the triangle or enjoy a cool beverage from craft beer and wine vendors, all while enjoying music from great local performers.
