Tuesday, June 20 | 3–10 p.m. | Free The International Association of Skateboarding Companies is celebrating its 14th year of Go Skateboarding Day. Sk8- Cary welcomes all sports to join in the celebration for all sessions. Fun games and activities will be geared towards skateboarding participants, but all are welcome to join in. All participants must have a valid waiver on file and it must be signed by a parent if you're under 18. Starting Out at Sk8-Cary (age 5 & up) Are you new to the skate park scene? Experience what makes using a skate park different from practicing at home while getting a handle on the basics. Learn about your equipment, park etiquette, how to balance, how to fall, and how to begin navigating the ramps in this two-hour closed session with an instructor.
