PARKS PART THREE REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org 101 Rose Street Park 110 Rose Street, 27511 A quaint, neighborhood park, Rose Street Park holds the distinction of Cary's smallest park. This little treasure is a great spot for a toddler play date or a pick-up basketball game. Hours: Sunrise to sunset Features: Basketball slab, playground with swings, and picnic tables. Sears Farm Park 5077 Sears Farm Road, 27519 Sears Farm Park is wonderful place to enjoy all seasons with a shaded lawn area and playground, paved trails, unique landscaped areas, and a giant sculpture that little ones can climb on and move. Hours: Sunrise to sunset Features: Play lawns, playground, picnic shelter, basketball slab, kinetic sculpture, and restroom. Thomas Brooks Park 9008 Green Level Church Road, 27519 Thomas Brooks Park spans 224 beautiful acres in West Cary. You can enjoy a pick-up game of basketball or reserve a softball or baseball field or the lighted multi- purpose field. Enjoy walking trails, a playground, and picnic shelters. Thomas Brooks Park is also home to the USA Baseball National Training Complex. Hours: Sunrise to sunset; in lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the activity. Features: 4 lighted baseball/softball fields with restrooms, 2 batting cages and hitting area, 2 outdoor lighted basketball courts, 2 lighted artificial turf multi-purpose soccer fields, picnic shelter with restrooms, playground, and a half-mile walking track around the athletic complex. Urban Park 414 E. Chatham Street, 27511 Tucked into a small wooded area, Urban Park is the perfect spot to burn a little energy on two play structures, a sandbox, and four swings atop a rubber play surface. Hours: Sunrise to sunset Features: Basketball slab, playground, and picnic tables. North Cary Park 1100 Norwell Blvd, 27513 One of the favorite parks in town, North Cary Park features a multitude of activities, including a unique climbing boulder, sand volleyball courts, athletic fields and courts, and a playground for youth. Hours: Sunrise to sunset Features: Soccer field, 2 basketball slabs, 4 sand volleyball courts, playground, picnic shelter, picnic tables, restrooms, climbing boulders, and trails. R.S. Dunham Park 519 Walnut Street, 27511 Whether you're enjoying a competitive game of tennis or watching the kids slide, whirl, and dig, Dunham Park is fun for everyone. "Dad" Park, as it is often called, is named after R.S. Dunham, a former teacher who taught at Cary High School for 40 years. Hours: Sunrise to sunset; in lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the activity or 10 p.m. Features: 5 tennis courts (lighted), 2 basketball slabs, playground, picnic tables, and restrooms. Robert V. Godbold Park 2050 N.W. Maynard Road, 27513 Godbold Park is like three parks in one! It features tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, and trails. It's also home to Cary's Dog Park for our four-legged, furry friends and Sk8-Cary for bike and skate enthusiasts! Details about the Dog Park and Sk8-Cary can be found in the facility listings in this guide. Hours: Sunrise to sunset; in lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the activity or 10:00 p.m. Features: 6 tennis courts (lighted), 2 basketball slabs (lighted), playground, picnic tables, restrooms, and trail with exercise stations.
