The Tennis Park staff has created a comprehensive pathway for children of all ages and abilities, providing the necessary skills and introducing them to an active lifestyle through the sport of tennis. The Cary Tennis Park Player Development Program emphasizes competition and training formats tailored to the age of the child. Each class in this section will incorporate the following four components: • Independent racquet and ball coordination: Participants will learn eye-hand coordination skills. • Cooperative training: Participants will work together to develop basic rally skills. • Technical skill development: Participants will learn fundamental stroke development and footwork skills. • Interactive games and play: Participants will sharpen their skills through fun games and competition. Introduce your child to the exciting world of tennis by signing up today!! Classes available include: • Tots (ages 4–6) • Aces (ages 6–8) • Futures (ages 8–10) • Challenger (ages 10–13) • High School Prep (ages 13–16) • Camps For more information, call (919) 462-2061. QuickStart Tennis QuickStart is a format of play for youth under the age of 10. The Cary Tennis Park has four 36' tennis courts for 8 and under play. In addition, 40 courts town wide have been lined for the 10 and under 60' play format. Sign your child up for our Tots, Aces, or Futures program to experience this exciting format.
