Take a boat out, explore the lake and relax in the evening sun. Instruction will be provided. Kayaks will be available in both solo and tandem. Location: Fred G. Work with a group of your peers to create scenes that you can perform in class. Location: Cary Arts Center Instructor: Tony Pender Fees: $29(R) $38(N) (4 classes) 104712 Sat Jun 3–24 10–11:30 a.m. Outdoor Recreation Family Time at the Challenge Course (age 10 & up) This class is for participants with special needs and their families. Enjoy time together, bring your family, and show them what Teambuilding Fun is all about! After the fun, join us for a lunch time picnic to celebrate! Location: Fred G. Bond Metro Park; Ropes Shelter Fees: $9 (R) $12 (N) per person (1 class) 104869 Sat Aug 5 10:30-noon Outdoor Skills Twilight Series (age 11–17) This outdoor skills mini-series will offer a chance to sample many outdoor activities, including the ropes course, archery, canoeing, night hiking, and fishing. There will be an option to stay Friday night and camp in Bond Park. Parents are welcome to camp. There will be no programming Saturday. Location: Fred G. (age 11 & up) Come experience fun in the great outdoors and enjoy activities that stimulate teamwork, encourage cooperation, instill trust, and bolster confidence. Participants must be able to communicate and move independently over uneven terrain. Caregivers welcome! Location: Fred G.
