REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org 97 Cary Tennis Park 2727 Louis Stephens Drive, 27519 With 29 courts and four QuickStart courts, the Cary Tennis Park (CTP) is one of the largest public facilities in the southeast. Scenic bridges, beautiful landscaping, and convenient amenities including locker rooms, a practice wall and a pro shop make CTP one of the nicest facilities in the country. Staffed with an outstanding group of tennis professionals, the products and services offered at the CTP are second to none. Hours: Summer (March 1–Nov. 30) 8 a.m.–10 p.m. daily. Winter (Dec. 1–Feb. 28) 8:30 a.m.–9 p.m. daily Features: 29 championship courts, including one stadium court, 4 permanent 36' QuickStart courts, pro shop, 2 comfort stations, showers, ball machine, and double-sided backboard. Davis Drive Park 1610 Davis Drive, 27523 Davis Drive Park features playgrounds, a picnic area, soccer fields, and a popular basketball court perfect for active youth, walkers, runners, and people in search of a great wpicnic spot in West Cary. With trailhead parking, the park provides access to White Oak Creek Greenway. Hours: Sunrise to sunset Features: 4 soccer fields, basketball slab, playgrounds, picnic shelter, picnic tables, restroom, half-mile paved loop trail, adjacent to Davis Drive multi-use trail, and trailhead parking for White Oak Creek Greenway (access to trail across Davis Drive). Annie L. Jones Park 1414 Tarbert Drive, 27511 With tennis courts, ball fields, a playground, and picnic amenities, Annie L. Jones Park is a popular park that features the trailhead for the Annie Jones Greenway—a great place for walking, biking, jogging, or strolling. The west branch runs from McCloud Court through Annie Jones Park and across Tarbert Drive, ending at the east branch a few hundred feet from SW Cary Parkway. Hours: Sunrise to sunset; in lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the activity or 10 p.m. Features: 6 lighted tennis courts, a lighted baseball/softball field, 2 basketball slabs, a playground, picnic tables, restrooms, and trailhead parking for the Annie Jones Greenway. Carpenter Park 4420 Louis Stephens Drive, 27512 This 16-acre parcel is a neighborhood park featuring a community garden, public art, trails, and is the memorial site for Flights 3379 and 3378. Hours: Sunrise to sunset Features: Central pond with earthen dam, restrooms, playground, open play area, basketball court, 2 pickleball courts, community garden, terraced lawn area, preserved forest, pedestrian trails, and picnic shelter. c Parks With 30 parks and 70 miles of greenway, get outside and enjoy the green life! NOW OPEN! Downtown Park, at the corner of Dry Avenue and Academy Street, provides a green amenity in the heart of Downtown!
