Downtown Update La Farm Bakery Annelore's German Bakery Pizzeria Faulisi has finalized the bakery portion of their space and is in the design phase for the bakery/cafe and lease portion of the remaining space of the building. has demolished the existing building on their site and has begun construction on their new bakery. opened in February and has had great reviews. Currently only open for dinner. Pro's Epicurean Market was announced as the new tenant for the former Dorry's space located in the Mid- town Square development. They plan to be open in spring 2017. FRESH Local Ice Cream has moved into the former barber shop on Chatham Street between Crosstown Pub and Johnson Jewelers. They opened at the end of March. Bond Brother's Brewing Company named Best New Brewery in the US by USA Today. The brewery celebrated their 1 year anniversary with a free festival, drawing close to 5,000 people. Mid-town Square Ribbon Cutting The ribbon cutting for the new office building, in conjunction with the Mid-town Square Spring Festival, was held in April. NC State Senator Tamara Barringer and Cary elected officials Mayor Weinbrecht, Mayor Pro Tem Yerha, and Council Members Frantz, Bush and Robinson were in attendance.
