This will be the Cary Photographic Artists Ninth Annual Open Juried Photography Exhibition. The Cary Photographic Artists for med in January 2007 as a club dedicated to learning, teaching and sharing photographic art. It is the only club in Cary focusing on photography as a viable ine art for m. Me di u m: Mixe d Cary Senior Center and the Fine Arts League of Cary will be hosting the 14th Annual Seniors Art Exhibition. This art sho w features t wo- di mensional art made by local residents over the age of 55! The maxi mu m size of work will be 18"x24" and no photography will be accepted. Fees and more details will be in the entry infor mation. There will be ribbons and a wards. A reception will be held for artists' and friends on Friday, August 25. Art should be re moved Friday, Septe mber 22 fro m 1–3 p. m. For more infor mation (including eligibility and entry rules) call the Cary Senior Center at (919) 469- 4081 after August 1, 2017. Art work is accepted at the Cary Senior Center bet ween 1:30–3 p. m. on Tuesday, Septe mber 26. There is no cost to enter this sho w; no monetary prizes will be given. A ' People's Choice A ward' will be chosen by visitors to the Cary Senior Center and a warded on October 20 (at end of sho w).
