18 www.townofcary.org Babysitter & Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (age 11–17) Facilitated by a trained American Red Cross and American Safety and Health Institute instructor, this course provides information needed for effective babysitting and teaches students to recognize and care for first aid emergencies to help victims of any age. Students who successfully complete this course will be certified in babysitting and Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED (valid for two years). Location: Herbert C. Students will learn concepts, practice actual ACT math problems, learn ACT test-taking tips, and build their overall confidence in math. ACT book included. One hour of reading/one hour of math per session. PSAT students are welcome to attend to get a head start on preparation.
