We'll play and sing more songs as a group, learn more chords, strum, and techniques. In addition we will also work on manual dexterity. This class will introduce you to an easy and fun instrument to learn and to play. We will first discuss how to buy an inexpensive ukulele. Playing the ukulele, besides being fun, helps develop use of hand and finger muscles to improve dexterity. You will gain excellent resources through this class to help you on your musical journey. During this class you will learn a little of everything—tunes, technique, and music theory, with an emphasis on Celtic tunes. You will need a violin and bow in good condition and should be able to play the A, D and G scales in good tune. This is a fun class where you learn to play well with others.
