All NC fi shing regulations apply. North Carolina requires anyone 16 or older to have a fi shing license. For additional information concerning size and creel limits or to purchase a license, visit www.ncwildlife.org. After School Fishing (age 11–17) Learn the basics of freshwater fi shing. You will learn the proper way to bait hooks with a variety of bait and learn the basics of casting with fl y rods, closed-faced reels, and cane poles. Cleaning and cooking your catch are also discussed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own rod/reel, but equipment will be provided.
