Mechanics will be taught along with understanding what it takes mentally to be a pitcher. Drills will be taught that will be able to be used independently in the participant's own time. Proper arm care will also be discussed. No competitive experience is required. Participants will rotate through a series of hitting, throwing, and defensive drills. Pre-registration is required as this clinic is capped at 100 participants. Registration ends March 11. Location: USA Baseball National Training Complex Instructors: Town of Cary Instructors Fees: $15 (1 class) 111172 Sun Mar 18 3–5 p.m. Baseball Clinics Basics of Throwing—Baseball (age 5–7) Players of all ages need to work on how to throw properly. This program will teach participants how to properly throw a baseball with accuracy and strength. Proper throwing mechanics also reduce the chance of injury to the throwing arm. Parents are encouraged to participate. Participants will play developmental games and learn drills to enhance their fielding ability. Protective equipment is encouraged. Little to no experience is recommended. The clinic is free to all coaches and will be conducted by USA Baseball staff and coaches. Come and learn great drills for your practices.
