SPORTS PART TWO 110 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org Youth Volleyball Skills Class (age 9–12) This class is designed for those new to the game of volleyball or with less experience. The goals are to learn and develop the basic skills and techniques involved in playing volleyball. The focus will be on fundamentals at each participant's individual level of skill and experience as these fundamentals are applied to game situations. Instruction will be modified for the participant's level of play and skills are applied to game situations. This class is excellent preparation for the Cary Youth League played in June and July. Volleyball League & Classes Girls Volleyball League (age 11–16) Volleyball leagues for girls age 11–13 and 14–16 will play on Mon, Thu, and/or Fri nights (usually 1–2 nights per week) beginning May 14. The season will last until the last week in July. Our league is recommended for those who have participated in other volleyball leagues or Town of Cary Volleyball skills classes. Those without experience in organized leagues should consider the Volleyball Skills Classes beginning in April. Registration is for individuals only.
