Wake County middle and high school teens will showcase their talents while helping to raise awareness about disparity throughout the Triangle area. All proceeds from this event will be donated to a local charity. Cary's Downtown Chowdown Sunday, April 22 | 12:30–5 p.m. | Free Downtown Cary Enjoy a full afternoon along Academy Street for the first Downtown Chowdown of the year. Taste some of the best food in the triangle or enjoy a cool beverage from craft beer and wine vendors, all while enjoying music from great local performers. Spring Daze Arts & Crafts Festival Saturday, April 28 | 9 a.m.–5 p.m. | Free Fred G. Bond Metro Park Nestled under the shady canopy of Bond Park, the 25th annual Spring Daze features over 170 local artists, entertainment on four stages, delicious festival foods, and Cary's annual Earth Day Celebration. There is something for everyone at Spring Daze! May Theatre Café Tuesday, May 1 | 7–8:30 p.m. | Free The Cary Theater This event features short, informal presentations and engaging discussion with theatre professionals. Grab a drink or snack from BREW on your way in! Best suited for adults/young adults; kids under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. Senior Citizens Day Luncheon Wednesday, May 2 | 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. | 109103 Age 55 & Up | $10 Per Person Cary Senior Center Fun, entertainment, and a delicious lunch await you at this annual event. Register by April 20. Senior Citizens Day SAS Showchoir Performance Wednesday, May 2 | 7–8 p.m. | 109100 Age 50 & Up | Free Cary Senior Center The annual evening Senior Day Celebration Concert with VocalMotion, the SAS Show Choir, and Audio Kudzu is always a dynamite performance. VocalMotion is an all-volunteer show choir sponsored by SAS. Register by April 28. Friends of the Page-Walker Herbfest Saturday, May 5 | 9 a.m.—3 p.m. | Free Page-Walker Arts & History Center Stroll the grounds and tour the herb gardens. Visit booths selling herbs, crafts, and garden products. Returning this year will be the popular butterfly releases. Herbfest is fun for all ages! HERBFEST
