Your children will take baby steps to see math in action as builders. In a series of fun challenges, your young builders will make creations reflecting their mathematical prowess! (age 3–5) In this program, your budding engineers will get a taste of civil engineering. They will play with shapes and build bridges and skyscrapers! Pet Ed Dog Obedience 101 (age 16 & up) Learn the importance of your role as leader and teach your dog self-control. Learn how to teach your dog to sit, down, come, stay, and to walk on a loose leash without pulling, resulting in improved behavior in public as well as at home. This course is for dogs 3.5 months and older. Location: Bond Park Community Center Instructor: Robina Thornton Fees: $149(R) $179(N) (6 classes) 110324 Wed Jan 10–Feb 14 7–8 p.m. 110325 Wed Feb 28–Apr 11 7–8 p.m. (no class Mar 28) 110328 Wed Apr 18–May 30 7–8 p.m. (no class May 2) Dog Obedience 102 (age 16 & up) This class is for dogs of any age that know sit, down, come, stay, and how to walk on a loose leash without pulling but need these skills improved. Your dog will improve self-control and reliability. Includes the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification test (if desired).
