This will be a time of resource sharing and networking. This drop-in event will be offered to parents, caregivers, and persons with disabilities. Location: Herbert C. Young Community Center 111597 Fri Feb 16 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Kids Together 2018 Bird Count (all ages & all abilities) As part of the National Great Backyard Bird Count event, we will identify birds by species and record the number of birds we see. Enjoy refreshments as we tally our results! No registration required. Location: Marla Dorrel Park, Kids Together Playground Shelter Sat Feb 18 10–11 a.m. Easter Eggstravaganza (age 12 & younger) Saturday, March 24 | Fred G. Bond Metro Park, Field #4 Children with special needs—whether intellectual and/ or physical—are invited to a unique egg hunt. Bring your Easter basket, meet the Easter Bunny, and scout the field for lots of colorful eggs! A special magic show will follow the hunt. Bring a buddy if needed. Registration is required for Egg Hunt. ENTERTAINMENT 9 a.m.–noon EGG HUNT (registration required) 109590, noon MAGIC SHOW 12:30 p.m. Rock the Red Carpet (middle school & up) Enjoy a night of dancing, food, and FUN at this prom- style event! Participants who need a 1:1 are welcome and must provide their own assistants. A photographer will be available on site for pictures beginning at 6:30 p.m. All participants will receive a photo.
