Learn the basics of throwing and joining goblets, wine glasses, and stemmed desert cups in a comfortable and supportive environment. The workshop will also include demonstrations of throwing and smoothing, making terra sigillata, polishing with terra sigillata, and more. You will learn image transfer techniques, including how to prepare and print photos for transfer. You will also learn how to determine which pieces are best suited for transfer and which kinds of results to expect from the transfer. Prerequisite required. Develop the skills needed to rid excess clay. Learn the stages to successful trimming, different ways to trim, the tools used for various visual effects, adding decoration, and adding details through trimming.
