The Easter Bunny is available for pictures/videos for ticket holders during this time. Tickets go on sale February 26 at the Herbert C. Young Community Center. This is a Cary Teen Council fundraising event. Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 24 | 9 a.m.-noon | Free Rain date, March 25 | 1–4 p.m. Fred G. Bond Metro Park The Town of Cary's 27th Annual Easter Egg features a variety of entertainment and a magic show for all ages followed by the egg hunt at noon for ages 10 and younger. ENTERTAINMENT 9 a.m.-noon MAGIC SHOW 11 a.m. EGG HUNT (age 10 & younger) Noon March Kite Festival Saturday, March 3 | 12:30–3 p.m. | Free Rain date: Sunday, March 4 Fred G. Bond Metro Park Bond Park's 23rd Annual Kite Festival is a fun way to spend the afternoon flying kites and watching others soar! Certificates and awards will be given in a variety of categories. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the fun begins at 1 p.m. Theatre Café Tuesday, March 6 | 7–8:30 p.m. | Free The Cary Theater Short, informal presentations and engaging discussion with theatre professionals. Grab a drink or snack from BREW on your way in! Best suited for adults/young adults; kids under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. Line Dancing Gone Green Friday, March 9 | noon–2:30 p.m. | 110075 Age 55 & Up | Free Cary Senior Center Line dance to your favorite tunes this spring while wearing green! Some instruction will be provided but mostly everyone is invited to jump right in with both feet and enjoy the night! Bring a dish to share! Annual Health Fair Thursday, March 15 | 9:30 a.m.–1 p.m. | 109565 Age 55 & Up | Free Cary Senior Center Join Resources for Seniors, Inc. and the Cary Senior Center for our annual Health Fair! Local health and wellness experts, health screenings, pharmacy consultations, and more! Call the Cary Senior Center for a flyer detailing the free screens. Appointments required for some health screenings. Register in advance. Arbor Day Saturday, March 17 | 1–3 p.m. | Free Downtown Park Go green on St. Paddy's Day! Celebrate trees at this family-friendly event, which includes education, entertainment, local food, and activities for kids. Take home a free tree and enjoy one-on-one time with a certified arborist. Join us in celebrating our designation of Tree City USA with games, prizes, and more! EGG HUNT FUN
