PART TWO HALF DAY CAMPS 42 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org Advanced Baseball Camp (age 11–15) Develop new skills and strengthen current ability in a fun atmosphere! Drills and techniques will be taught and you will have the opportunity to take part in competitive games. Areas of focus will include throwing, hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, specific position instruction, base running, and teamwork. This camp for players who are experienced. Instructor: Town of Cary Baseball Instructors Fees: $130(R) $160(N) (5 classes) Location: USA Baseball National Training Complex, Field 4 112995 Mon–Fri Jun 18–22 8:30 a.m.–noon T1 112996 Mon–Fri Jul 30–Aug 3 8:30 a.m.–noon T3 Beginners Softball Camp (age 7–14) This camp will introduce the fundamentals of softball including throwing, catching, fielding and hitting. Through games and fun activities, you will learn the rules of the game, positions on the field, and how to play each position. Players should bring a softball glove to camp. All other equipment will be provided. Instructor: Town of Cary Softball Instructors Fees: $120(R) $150(N) (5 classes) Location: Mills Park, Softball Field 112882 Mon–Fri Jul 9–13 8:30 a.m.–noon T4 112883 Mon–Fri Jul 30–Aug 3 8:30 a.m.–noon T3 Baseball and Softball Mini Intros Mini Intros are small group lessons for the beginner just starting out in the game through the NTC Academy level or for a player who is working on a new skill or position. In smaller groups, instructors can provide greater attention to each player to help develop the skill needed. Mini Intro information, including the specific focus and skill level, will be released monthly. They will be limited to four players, unless otherwise noted. Mini Intros can be booked through the Town of Cary EZ-Reg system and will be added onto EZ- Reg each month starting on the 25th of each month prior. NTC Academy Softball Minis NTC Academy Softball MINIS are for the high level player who maybe working on a new skill or position. We believe that having like athletes working together, Instructors can provide greater detail to develop that new skill or to take an existing skill set to the next level. They will be limited to 4 players, unless otherwise noted. NTC Academy Minis can be booked through the Town of Cary EZ-Reg system and will be added onto EZ- Reg during the monthly lesson release. At the time of release you will be able to view the specific focus for each NTC Academy Mini. You can also view available NTC Academy Minis on the NTC Programs webpage.
