look what's new HEADS UP! Catch all your favorite summer activities, classes, camps, festivals, and concerts. Around here, summer is filled with something for everyone. Things heat up in June with men and women's professional soccer matches at WakeMed Soccer Park. A little later, the best high school senior boys and girls soccer players from NC battle it out against their opponents from SC. Don't miss the action! 3-2-1 blast off the season at Fred G. Bond Metro Park on Rocket Day—a chance to launch your own rocket high into the sky. Craving s'more adventure? Join us for music, games, and gooey treats at our Girls Night S'mores Party. At the Downtown Park, there is plenty of activity all summer for kids—and their grownups! Playtime in the Park offers little ones a chance to explore, imagine, and play. And, Baristas and Bakers brings friends together for a taste of local coffee and baked goods, with a little socializing on the side. Celebrate the good ol' USA on July 4 with festivities in the morning at Bond Park and later in the day with the NC Symphony at Koka Booth Amphitheater. Enjoy the sounds of your favorite musicians hosted at Fred G. Bond Metro Park, Page-Walker Arts & History Center, Downtown Cary, and Koka Booth Amphitheatre. We wind down summer at the end of August with one of Cary's greatest traditions—Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival, now in its 42 nd season. The festival draws some of the best artisans from around the world to Downtown Cary. As you anticipate summer, remember to laugh, learn, and play with us in Cary!
