Rather, it is Tarkington's attempt, with 25 drawings, to tell a story of a special group of people he feels a special attachment to, who live in small communities in Carteret County beginning at Bettie and extending east all the way to Cedar Island. Brenda Brokke: Reflections Town Hall Gallery Through Friday, June 22 Medium: Photography The photographs reflect the spirit of each location in which they were shot. They are designed to encourage reflection in the viewer as well as being reflective images. This series was put together over many years and reflect the artist's global journey as well as a journey through time. Many capture history reflected in the present.
