VISUAL ARTS PART TWO REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org 39 Garment Sewing Basics (age 16 & up) This class is designed for students who want to learn basic garment construction techniques, sewing terms, and how to read a pattern. Students will complete a simple garment in class to practice their skills. Supply list provided on receipt. This class will feature creative sewing ideas and add to construction skills. Enhance your sewing knowledge with simple projects that you will complete in class. Supply list provided on receipt. Multiple styles and customization options to choose from. Bring three or more T-shirts you're ready to repurpose. Open the door to more creative photography by learning how to control light, regardless of the source. Bring your DSLR, mirrorless, or point-and-shoot camera with manual settings. Prerequisite: Basic Photography or solid understanding of the Exposure Triangle. Learn the principles that make a portrait worth keeping with simple and inexpensive tools. Bring your DSLR, mirrorless, or point-and-shoot camera with manual settings. Includes presentation, demonstration, practice, and constructive critique. Prerequisite: Basic Photography or understanding of the Exposure Triangle.
