Please dress appropriately for the weather. • You may get wet while boating at Bond Park. A dry change of clothes is recommended. • Intentional capsizing is part of some of the classes, so plan on getting wet. • Wear footwear, such as old sneakers, that you can wade in and won't come off your feet (no flip-flops). • Wear clothing made of synthetic material. It will dry much faster than cotton and is less likely to chill you if wet. • Consider bringing/wearing a windbreaker in the spring and fall. • Bring sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, a broad brim hat or cap, and a water bottle. • Leave valuables such as keys, wallets, cell phones, and other electronics at home or in a safe place. Do not bring them on the boat or they may end up in the lake. Day-use locker rentals are available in the Boathouse restrooms. • No pets permitted on the boats. The Town of Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department is committed to an inclusive approach to recreation and encourages individuals with and without disabilities to participate together. In order for individuals with disabilities to participate as fully as possible, reasonable modifications will be provided in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Please see the Specialized Recreation section on page 87 for more details. AN INCLUSIVE APPROACH
