The Town of Cary is moving from Town-wide organization of Fall youth instructional baseball and softball (age 8–9), as well as Fall youth basketball leagues (age 5–8) to an organization by geographic zones: Central, South, and West. Baseball and Softball (age 8–17) Practices will start mid-August and games begin in September. New players in leagues age 10 & up are encouraged to attend a skills review session prior to the season. Fall youth basketball registration forms will be available June 25. All five-year-olds must provide a copy of their birth certificate with registration. All Cary residents Nonresidents returning to the same league (Mail-in only) EZ REG WEB OR WALK-IN JULY 23–29 All Cary residents All nonresidents WHAT'S NEW FOR FALL BASKETBALL? • Registration by zone. • Most games will be held on Saturdays. • Preseason practices will be twice a week; one weeknight and one Saturday. • Regular season practices will be held primarily on weeknights, one night per week. • Practices will be within your registered zone. • At least half of the games will be within your registered zone. Exceptions may apply.
