2 Summer 2018 Cary Senior Center Important Inofrmation HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE 50+ The 50+ symbol means the event is open to anyone over the age of 50. All other courses are open to anyone over the age of 55 unless otherwise noted. FREE If you're looking for inexpensive activities, keep an eye out for the "Free!"icon above. c Why Register for Programs? Every brochure season we ask that you register for any and all programs because: 1. We can put enough chairs out to include everyone. 2. If an instructor is sick, we can call to let you know. 3. If we have severe weather and cancel an activity, we can call you. 4. We have your emergency information. 5. We order enough food and supplies. 6. We will call if you do not show up to check on you. 7. We will call to remind you about certain programs you registered for! The benefits of signing up are numerous. Many of our programs fill quickly. Please register for the waitlist if a program is full; we may add more courses. c Registration Dates • May 7, 2018—Cary Resident (EZ Reg Walk-In, EZ Reg Web, EZ Reg Mail-In)) • May 21, 2018—Non-Cary Resident (EZ Reg Walk-In, EZ Reg Web, EZ Reg Mail-In) c CSC Closures Cary Senior Center will be closed on the following dates: • Memorial Day Saturday-Monday, May 26–28 • Indepe ndence Day Wednesday, July 4 • Labor Day Monday, September 1–3 The Center typically closes at 5 p.m. the day prior to a holiday. Line Dancing Gone Green Line dance to your favorite tunes this spring by wearing green! Open to all who love to dance no matter if you have never taken classes. Some instruction will be provided but mostly everyone is invited to jump right in with both feet and enjoy the night! Light hors d' oeuvres will be provided. Registration is required by February 28.
