Learn what life was like through the food, music, clothing, games, and stories from the era. Discover how Cary got its start in the 1868 hotel built by Cary's founder. Learn about the day the Civil War marched into Cary. Camp includes a field trip. Participate in outdoor activities such as archery, kayaking, mountain biking, and survival. This is a great way to experience the outdoors and find a new passion. This four-day camp will teach you how to safely ride a mountain bike over various terrains and courses. The camp will feature a mixture of trips to ropes courses and climbing facilities ending with a day of outdoor climbing at Pilot Mountain. All equipment and transportation is included. Camp meets at Bond Park Boathouse. Campers will need to bring lunch every day. The final day is a longer day 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Location: Fred G.
