OUTDOOR RECREATION PART TWO 46 REGISTER ONLINE: mycary.org Outdoor Recreation Adventure Day (age 5 & up) We are opening the Bond Park Challenge Course and boat rentals for a day of fun and adventure! This one-day pass gives you a full day of boat rentals and a two-hour pass to the high ropes course and zipline. Come as a group or sign up on your own! All equipment provided. Learn how to set up a bow, and archery basics including shooting, safety, and scoring. All equipment will be provided. No prior experience is needed. This is an outdoor program; dress appropriately for the weather. Fri Aug 19 9–11 a.m. 016145 Tue Aug 23 9–11 a.m. 016146 Location: Bond Park Community Center Instructor: Chandler Musson Fees: $20(R) $26(N) (1 class) Cary Archery Club (age 10 & up) Learn the foundations of archery from our USA Archery- certified instructors. During this 10-week class, you will learn safety, stance, technique, and hone your accuracy. Participants must attend the first session, which covers range safety. Tue Jun 14–Aug 16 5:30–7 p.m. 016144 Location: Bond Park Outdoor Spaces Instructor: Chandler Musson Fees: $110(R) $140(N) (10 classes) Challenge Course The Challenge Course is an outdoor learning facility that encourages individuals and groups to see their potential through a progression of challenging activities that foster personal growth and improved teamwork. Teambuilding programs are located on or near the ground and focus primarily on teambuilding, problem solving, and fun. Alternatively come explore our new two-tier adventure course and zipline. Programs are great for schools, scouts, sports teams, birthday parties, family fun, and corporate events. A minimum group size is ten people.
