It features tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, and trails. It's also home to Cary's Dog Park for our four-legged, furry friends and Cary Action Sports for bike and skate enthusiasts! Hours: Sunrise to sunset; in lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the activity or 10:00 p.m. Features: Six tennis courts (lighted), two basketball slabs (lighted), playground, picnic tables, restrooms, and trail with exercise stations. Rose Street Park 110 Rose Street, 27511 A quaint, neighborhood park, Rose Street Park holds the distinction of being Cary's smallest park. This little treasure is a great spot for a toddler play date or a pick-up basketball game. Hours: Sunrise to sunset Features: Basketball slab, playground with swings, and picnic tables. Sears Farm Park 5077 Sears Farm Road, 27519 Sears Farm Park is wonderful place to enjoy all seasons with a shaded lawn area and playground, paved trails, unique landscaped areas, and a giant sculpture that little ones can climb on and move. Thomas Brooks Park 9008 Green Level Church Road, 27519 Thomas Brooks Park spans 224 beautiful acres in West Cary. You can enjoy a pick-up game of basketball or reserve a softball or baseball field or the lighted multipurpose field. Enjoy walking trails, a playground, and picnic shelters. Thomas Brooks Park is also home to the USA Baseball National Training Complex. Old Reedy Creek Road Trailhead Park 2139 Old Reedy Creek Road This trailhead is the starting point for the Town's 7.0 mile Black Creek Greenway and an access point for the East Coast Greenway. These trails connect westward to White Oak Creek Greenway and the American Tobacco Trail (ATT), eastward through Raleigh, then southwards along the Neuse River. The trailhead provides access to scenic Lake Crabtree overlooks, Wake County's mountain bike trails linking to Lake Crabtree County Park, and hiking and biking trails within the 5,000-acre Umstead State Park. Hours: Sunrise to sunset Features: 82 parking spaces, restrooms, trail connections, picnic tables, grill, shelter, bike fix-it station, drinking water and pet dish, kiosk with maps Penny Road School Park 10900 Penny Road, 27518 Newly renovated in 2021, this school park provides citizens with the opportunity for open play on two sports fields. A picnic shelter is available for reservations for family gatherings. Dunham Park 519 Walnut Street, 27511 Whether you're enjoying a competitive game of tennis or watching the kids slide, whirl, and dig, Dunham Park is fun for everyone. "Dad" Park, as it is often called, is named after R.S. Dunham, a former teacher who taught at Cary High School for 40 years.
