Chip Freund: Blue Glacier Then and Now—A Personal Story of Climate Change Cary Arts Center July 12–August 27 Meet the Artist: Friday, July 28 | 6–8 p.m. Medium: Photography and Documentary Film Viewing The location is the Blue Glacier in Olympic National Park in Washington state. The photographer revisits the glacier 40 years later. August Michael Salemi: Color and Texture in Wood Page-Walker Arts & History Center August 23–September 23 Meet the Artist: (During Lazy Daze) Medium: Turned Wood Salemi presents turned wooden vessels that highlight texture and color, including pieces that combine wood, laminates, and epoxy resin to introduce color in dramatic ways.
