Keep our sewers flowing freely by disposing items properly. Dispose of these items in your trash and not in our sewers: R E C YC L E YO U R FAT S , O I LS , A N D G R E AS E ( F. O . G . ) Never drain F.O.G. down your sink, where it can harden and create blockages in sewer pipes. Instead, collect your cooled grease so that it can be recycled into clean burning biofuel. ■ Collect a minimum of 1 /2 gallon F.O.G. in a plastic screw-top container and label it "Used Cooking Oil." ■ Visit carync.gov/311 or dial 311 to schedule a free curbside collection.
