In support of the July 22 Town Hall meeting, Cary recorded more than 100 RSVPs and tracked 35 questions from residents seeking to engage with their elected officials. At Lazy Daze, nearly all 311 advocates staffed the indoor information station, offering citizens a direct way to connect with their local government. The team also introduced the Lazy Daze Lounge, a place for festivalgoers to rest and recharge while learning about Cary 311 services. Capitalizing on the popularity of autonomous sensory meridian response, or ASMR, Cary launched "Sounds of Cary," a weekly Friday video series. Posts have featured greenways, Downtown Cary Park, Bond Lake, and the Cary Regional Library. This series showcases Cary in a new light while increasing engagement on its main social media channels. In addition, Cary 311 partnered with Neighborhood Services to conduct hyperlocal outreach in three neighborhoods experiencing quality-of-life concerns related to curbside collection, traffic safety, and on-street parking. Staff presented combined survey results and system insights to the Neighborhood Services Committee, enabling data-driven next steps that reflect genuine neighborhood priorities rather than assumptions.
